Welcome to the Judy's Journal Blog
After many years of planning, we are finally building our dream shop. In 2008, Gordon dismantled the 150 year old tobacco barn on his late Grandmother’s farm. This was many long hours of hard work. It was interesting to discover the barn had been made from hand hued timbers, wooden pegs, and square nails. After dismantling the barn, he sorted and categorized the timber, loaded and transported it to our backyard, where he started the foundation for the shop. He used the same rock the barn was built on, hauling the rock, digging holes, and leveling for a solid foundation. Each step made it become more real and exciting that our dream was coming true. We plan to open the shop, in the Fall of 2009. The shop will consist of a large Salesroom, and a Conference Room, where we will hold Workshops and Seminars. Many plans are in the works for this exciting time in our lives. Visit our Photo Gallery for viewing the dismantling of the barn and the beginning stages of our new shop.
